CIRCULAR

This design takes the visitor on a journey through time to show how the fast fashion system developed over time and how it doesn’t have to be this way. The hero items of the trench coat, denim jacket and puffer jacket show how fashion in someways hasn’t really changed at all.

The exhibition spaces shape represents the circular nature of fashion trends and the need to move away from fast fashion toward a circular fashion system.

The use of a Mobius strip was inspired by the work of M. C. Escher and the use of visual illusions to create impossible objects. The complexity of the Mobius strip represents the complexity of fast fashions wicked problems.
